Simon Draper and Miriam Margolyes Speak to Deadline

Director Simon Draper and actor Miriam Margolyes spoke to Stewart Clark at Deadline about their recent project, Miriam Margolyes Made Me Me.

“I’m just very good at being who I am. I don’t find it difficult to be Miriam. I answer questions honestly and thoughtfully. Sometimes I’m naughty and funny, and sometimes I’m sad and reflective, just like everybody else, but I find it very easy to put my emotions and my thoughts up front,” said Miriam. 

It is this spirit, along with the incredible friendship between Miriam and Simon, that is captured so beautifully in the film.

Miriam Margolyes Made Me Me will air on BBC Two and iPlayer in the spring.
