Norma Percy and Max Stern talk Brexit: A Very British Civil War at Sheffield DocFest

On Friday 12th June, legendary filmmaker Norma Percy returned to the Sheffield DocFest stage, joined by director Max Stern to discuss their latest documentary, Brexit: A Very British Civil War.

The conversation was chaired by former British diplomat and The Traitors 2025 “People’s Champion”, Alexander Dragonetti.

Together, they explored how the team secured interviews with key political figures, including David Cameron, Boris Johnson, Jeremy Corbyn and Nigel Farage, how they approached a subject that remains so deeply contested, and what they learned from the interview process and the making of the series.
