International Emmy Nomination for Brook Lapping

Brook Lapping’s Live Aid at 40: When Rock ’n’ Roll Took on the World has been nominated for an International Emmy Award in the Arts Programming category.

Produced by Brook Lapping, part of Zinc Media Group, the three-part series marked 40 years since Live Aid, exploring how Band Aid’s response to the famine in Ethiopia grew into the landmark 1985 concerts, as well as examining the cultural and political legacy that followed.

The nomination is a fantastic recognition of the creativity, ambition and hard work that went into bringing the series to the screen.

Congratulations to Angus Macqueen, Jamal Osman, Tom Pollard, Olivia Bernhardt Brogan, Max Stern, Anna Hamilton, Tanya Shaw, Norma Percy and the entire production team on this international recognition.

The winners will be announced at the International Emmy Awards in New York on 23 November.
