Imagination Studios & Awards UK Schools Project

Brand impact

Introducing Cartoon Network's commitment to education and learning through creativity

The Imagination Studios website was supported by resources that assisted teachers in helping pupils to develop an understanding and appreciation of friendship, and how to put into practice what they learn through drawing, storytelling and animation. The competition element of the brand impact programme required children aged between 6 and 12 to enter their original creations inspired by the theme of ‘friendship’.

Resources consisted of Teachers’ Notes, Lesson Plans linked to PSHE, English and Art & Design, Pupil Activity Sheets and an Assembly PPT.

Over:

  • 2,000 competition entries in first year, with 53 schools participating in the competition in 2015.
  • 2,100 downloads of the Teachers’ Toolkit from the Imagination Studios website.

The Imagination Studios & Awards was supported by the Prince’s Trust for Children & the Arts.
